Bill Yidumduma Harney is Senior Aboriginal Elder of the Wardaman community west of Katherine N.T. He is well-known through his 1996 book Born Under the Paperbark Tree, and the 2002 SBS film of his family and land, the Menngen White Cockatoo Country.
